Agbara, Nigeria – Sept/2025 – Daystar Power, a leading provider of hybrid solar power solutions for Africa’s industrial and commercial sectors, has completed a major solar power installation for Beta Glass at its Agbara facility, supporting the company’s mission to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency in manufacturing. 





The solar system which will work alongside gas energy, supplied by Shell Nigeria Gas, will deliver 2,040 MWh of clean electricity annually, meeting 16% of the factory’s daytime energy needs. By reducing reliance on the national grid and diesel generators, the installation will offset 6,027 liters of diesel and 1,652 MWh of grid electricity each year, avoiding 681 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. 


This investment in renewable energy underlines Beta Glass’ commitment to environmental sustainability while ensuring uninterrupted, reliable power for its operations.
